Gel nail polish

Gelish/Shellac/Geleration.....there are various brand names but all are the  fantastic new soak-off  gel nail varnish product.  It is applied like a polish and has the strength of gel.  Gel Nails are maintenance free- they are said to  last a minimum of 3 weeks and remains super shiny!!! So, I gave it a try.
Acrylic ruined my nails, so I was interested to read about this new generation of gel which goes on like a nail polish but sets with UV or LED light. The advantages:

• 2 week manicure
• doesn't damage the natural nail

• easy to soak off with acetone

So, I have had Gelish applied to my fingers and toes- in a colour called passion. A hot pink.
It looks fab, but I will let you know how it looks in a few weeks time. Does it last?
